Ulster County is continuing the Mobile County Government initiative which started on April 11th and plan to join the DMV bus twice a month, during their scheduled hours of 10am-3:30pm in rotating locations. As part of this effort we plan on having a representative from the service focused departments including DSS, Office for the Aging, Veterans Services Agency, the Office of Employment and Training and the Office of Economic Development on site to work with constituents who may have barriers to getting to County offices.
“As Supervisor of the Town of Marlborough, I'm happy to be the first Town to host the re-launch of Ulster County’s Mobile County Government. This is a convenient way for the public to access County services close to home. Having greater access to our local Government and its representatives is a win-win for the Town of Marlborough and its citizens,” Town of Marlborough Supervisor Scott Corcoran said. “ I hope everyone utilizes this convenient way of accessing County services. It will be a great addition to the already highly successful DMV mobile bus and a great example of local Government working for you.”
